All you need is a screw driver... NO SOLDERING NEEDED!!!!!
Remove the bottom of the Toshiba phone then remove the circuit board. Flip the circuit board over and pry off the existing hook switch cover. Replace with the new cover (this cover is bigger and it fits over the hook switch housing.  Replace the circuit board and the base of the Toshiba phone and you are done.
